
Ford Australia has added a new addition to Australia’s best selling 4×4 UTE.
The Ford Ranger Tradesman is priced from $47,990 drive-away.
The Ford Ranger Trademan is based on the Ford Ranger XL 4×4 though its $1000 more with $5500 worth of extra equipment.
In addition to the standard equipment on the Ford Ranger XL 4×4, the Tradesman gains 16-inch black alloy wheels, a black nudge bar with LED light bar, side steps, tow bar and a tub liner.
The Ford Ranger Tradesman is powered by the familiar 3.2 litre five-cylinder turbo diesel (147kW/470Nm) and six-speed automatic only.
As with the rest of the 4×4 line-up, the Ford Ranger Tradesman has the same part-time four-wheel drive system and lockable rear differential.
Braked towing capacity remains unchanged at 3500kg.
Inside, the Ford Ranger Tradesman comes with Ford’s Sync3 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and an 8.0-inch touchscreen.
As with all Ranger models the Tradesman special edition also comes with autonomous emergency braking.
The Ford Ranger Tradesman special edition is offered in six colours, including aluminium silver, arctic white (pictured top of story), blue lightning, meteor grey, shadow black and true red.
